Eleven (11) families in Quezon City received cash assistance from the National Housing Authority (NHA) in ceremonies held at the Gulod Barangay Hall, and the Holy Spirit Barangay Hall on December 14, 2021, respectively.
NHA East Sector, Quezon City District Officer-in-Charge Rose Michelle Padre-Mahamud directed the distribution of the financial grant amounting to P440,000 to five (5) families from 9-17 Baltazar St., Nitang Ave., Gulod, Novaliches; and six (6) beneficiaries from Area 7C Nawasa Line, Brgy. Holy Spirit, whose houses were damaged and destroyed by fire on September 22 and June 7, 2021.
The release of financial assistance was done through the NHA’s Emergency Housing Assistance Program (EHAP), implemented under NHA Board Resolution No. 5430 on February 24, 2012. It was formerly known as the Housing Materials Assistance Program (HOMA) aimed to assist households and families affected by calamities.
