The National Housing Authority (NHA) Region VIII has distributed 114 land titles with the deed of conveyance to the beneficiaries of San Lorenzo Heights 1, Brgy. Guindapunan, Culaba, Biliran on June 7, 2022.

The said housing site is for the survivors of Super Typhoon Yolanda, which caused widespread destruction to the region on November 8, 2013.

Aside from land titles, the beneficiaries also received their certificates of award. NHA also held an orientation on the transfer of land titles from NHA to the housing beneficiaries.

NHA Region VIII Manager Engr. Constancio G. Antiniero and NHA Leyte 1 District Officer-in-Charge Engr. Silverio and “Ohliver Ceasar Ian” T. Gempeson, Jr. led the distribution of the titles with Culaba Mayor Humphrey B. Olimba and Culaba Councilor Win A. Francisco.

Also present were Ms. Joy M. Castillo from the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) and Mr. Ray Jay Emboltorio from the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO).

On March 3, 2022, and May 24, 2022, NHA distributed 75 land titles to the beneficiaries of the Yolanda Permanent Housing Project in St. Francis Village, Tacloban City, bringing the total number of awarded titles to 2,939.
