Fifty-four (54) families in Infanta, Pangasinan will soon benefit from the joint undertaking of the National Housing Authority and the local government of Infanta, Pangasinan.

NHA led by Region I/CAR I Manager, Engr. Maria Belinda V. Sevalla with Pangasinan Governor Hon. Amado I. Espino III, Infanta Mayor Marvin Martinez, and DHSUD Region I Director Atty. Raymundo A. Foronda held the groundbreaking and capsule-laying ceremony of the Infanta Resettlement Project on October 22, 2021.

They were joined by NHA Region I/CAR-1 District 2 Officer-In-Charge Engr. Roman E. Macatangay, NHA I/CAR I Program Office Officer-In-Charge, Ms. Aida. C. Daiwey and Pangasinan 1st District Board Member Hon. Margielou Verzosa.

This has developed as NHA allocated the local government of Infanta, Pangasinan a P25 million grant for the land development and construction of 54 duplex housing units with a modal lot size of 50 square meters and floor area of 21 sqm.

The Infanta Resettlement Project is an NHA Resettlement Assistance Program to Local Government Units (RAP-LGU) wherein the Authority provides funding assistance to the LGU for the development of a resettlement project to its constituents, including qualified families living in danger areas, those affected by government infrastructure projects in the municipality, those with court orders for eviction, and other low-income families.

The project site is a 7,480.00 sqm portion of the 19,577 sqm of land-titled in the name of LGU Infanta, Pangasinan, and is expected to be completed in the year 2022.
