The newly-renovated office of the National Housing Authority-Central Bids and Awards Committee (NHA-CBAC) and the main office elevator were officially inaugurated and blessed ahead of schedule on August 16, 2022 at the NHA main office in Quezon City.

The renovation of the CBAC office, former Northern and Central Luzon Building, and the installation of the main building elevator were initially set to finish on August 29, 2022 and in the 2nd week of September this year, respectively.

NHA General Manager Joeben A. Tai, in his message, congratulated all those behind the success of the office improvements. He added, “We are so blessed this afternoon because another dream has been turned into a reality — an office for our employees have been completed and renovated ahead of time, along with the installation of the new elevator in the main building.”

Addressing the employees, he added, “I am challenging everyone to build more houses for our people, that we may have better and more housing.”

The blessing of the office and the elevator was officiated by Fr. Joel Saballa of the Diocese of Immaculate Conception Parish. Officer-in-Charge of the Office of the Assistant General Manager and concurrent Region V Manager Albert A. Perfecto, HSSG Manager Atty. Maria Magdalena T. De Leon-Siacon, GSD Manager Engr. Susan E. Nava, HRMD Manager Lowella L. Manuel, and Acting HTTRD Manager Engr. Alejandro F. Salvador graced the ribbon-cutting ceremony, and the event was also witnessed by a number of NHA staff and personnel.
