The National Housing Authority – Community Support Services Department (NHA-CSSD) received a plaque of appreciation in recognition of its significant contributions to the livelihood improvement efforts of the Ang-Hortaleza Foundation Inc. (AHFI), during its 25th founding anniversary held at the NHA main office compound on August 9, 2022.
Atty. Magdalena T. De Leon-Siacon, Manager of the Housing Support Services Group, received the plaque in behalf of General Manager Joeben Tai, saying, “Thank you so much Ang-Hortaleza Foundation, Inc. for all the support throughout all these years,” addressing the message to AHFI Managing Director Maria Aurora M. Hornedo who personally handed the award.
The AFHI has been NHA’s partner for the past 15 years specifically in implementing the Basic Cosmetology livelihood skills training for some 1,500 beneficiaries from select NHA resettlement sites, tagged as “Ganda Mo, Hanapbuhay Ko.”
Also present during the awarding were CSSD Manager Sylvia L. Briones, Socio-Economic Development Division-CSSD Manager Lolit L. Madiavillo, and AHFI Program Manager Kyz Kate Sabanal.
