The National Housing Authority (NHA) together with Field of Dreams (FOD) Marketing taught the Jowivil Craters View Housing beneficiaries how to produce household cleaning materials, as well as how to grow their business last July 26, 2022, in Brgy. Makina, Balete, Batangas.

As part of the relentless livelihood interventions of the NHA to its beneficiaries, 20 individuals participated in a two-hour seminar wherein they learned the process of making household cleaning materials such as dishwashing liquid, hand soap, toilet bowl cleaner and bleaching agents. FOD Marketing has been NHA’s partner for the past 18 years and continually extends livelihood opportunities to families across the country.

FOD Marketing Trainor Ana Fe Tabirao led the seminar through pre-recorded modules, group discussions and hands-on production sessions. Ms. Tabirao also imparted tips on how to grow the cleaning materials business within the community and through partnerships with other organizations.

A ceremonial awarding of certificates was also held, along with the distribution of NHA starter kits containing cleaning materials ingredients.

NHA continually provides livelihood opportunities to its beneficiaries in partnership with various private agencies and contractors. These programs aim to provide financial literacy and entrepreneurship assistance that will not only help them earn profit but also aid them in land amortization and payment programs.

Also present in the event were NHA CSSD-SEDD Community Support Services Specialist Rhealyn N. Espiritu, NHA Region IV Acting CSSD Chief Cristina D. Bernal and NHA Batangas/Quezon District Office Acting CSSD Chief Christian Ericson Gozo.
