The National Housing Authority strongly disowns and condemns the acts committed by a certain “Chairman Louie Baylosis of Balikatan,” claiming that he is allegedly accredited by NHA to process applications for the Balik Probinsya Bagong Pag-asa (BP2) Program of the government.

The scheme was reported after a text message sent by a concerned citizen from Batangas reveals that Baylosis has been encouraging residents of the province, particularly from Brgy. Matabungkay, Lian, to apply for the BP2 Program.

Among his promises to the victims-to-be include owning a low-cost house and lot, which they may start amortizating after five years of staying, and the pouring of aid from the Departments of Agriculture and Trade and Industry.

“Kptid kung kayo ay nagnanais na magkaroon ng bahay at lupa na long term ayuda ni Pres. Duterte sa Balik Probinsya at tel na taga Btngas kyo sa Lian at Bgy. Matabungkay at ititimbre ko kyo sa Mayor at Bgy. Chrmn na kunyari ay mi haus kyo sa Baylosis Subd. Lot 1. Blk.-2 at malapit yan sa Dagat Resorts na magandang bakasyunan ntin na 500sqm kada fam & after 5 yrs ntin bago bayaran sa mbabang halaga kada buwan at mi urban farming na pwding pagkakitaan sa tulong ng Dept. of Agriculture at DTI,” part of Baylosis’ text message to unsuspecting individuals.

Furthermore, NHA warns the public from falling prey to this kind of person, noting that the BP2 application is free of charge to voluntary beneficiaries who are currently residents of Metro Manila.

But as of October, the BP2 dispatch to the provinces is suspended until such new advisory is issued by the BP2 Executive Committee.
