An NHA employee gets his COVID-19 booster shot.
Over 280 employees and allied workers of the National Housing Authority (NHA) received their COVID-19 booster shot on February 24, 2022, at the NHA Main Office covered court.
The activity is part of the NHA’s continuing efforts to mitigate the effects of COVID-19 and is conducted under the supervision of the Quezon City local government health officials.
The QC LGU has been implementing the vaccination program through its “QC Protektodo” program for its constituents and employees working within the locality.
The COVID-19 booster shot drive is implemented under the Department of Health’s (DOH) directives. The vaccine is administered to individuals who have received their first and second dose of the vaccine, within at least a three (3) month gap from the last dose received.
Before the actual vaccination, NHA officers and employees were briefed by the Human Resource Management Department (HRMD) on the process of filling up forms and directional flow.
On the other hand, the General Services Department (GSD) assisted the employees in ensuring strict compliance to safety protocols such as physical distancing and wearing a face mask. For added safety, the GSD conducted disinfection of the venue a day before the actual vaccination day.
NHA employees and other workers in the Authority were grateful for this management initiative in implementing vaccination activities to ensure the safety of its workers. This event signifies the unwavering efforts of the NHA in putting the welfare of its employees first, especially in these times where health is a top priority.
