The National Housing Authority (NHA) extended financial assistance to 20 Quezon City residents whose houses were razed by fire on June 24, 2021, in a ceremony at the Commonwealth Barangay Hall on December 15, 2021.

NHA East Sector Regional Manager Albert A. Perfecto and Quezon City District Office-East Sector 1 Officer-in-Charge Rose Michelle Padre-Mahamud spearheaded the distribution of the P510,000 cash aid to the families who were victims of fire from 3 Interior, Maria Algeria St., Brgy. Commonwealth.

NHA General Manager Marcelino P. Escalada, Jr., approved the release of the financial assistance through the Authority’s Emergency Housing Assistance Program (EHAP) under NHA Board Resolution No. 5430 on February 24, 2012.

EHAP, formerly known as Housing Materials Assistance Program (HOMA), aims to assist households and families affected by calamities.
