The National Housing Authority (NHA) has signed a Memorandum of Agreement with the San Jose del Monte, Bulacan local government to implement the Beneficiary Rewards ID System (BRIS) in Pleasant View Residences on June 27, 2022, at the Livelihood Training Center of Pleasant View Residences.
NHA General Manager Marcelino P. Escalada, Jr., San Jose del Monte Mayor Arthur B. Robes, Rep. Rep. Flrodia Robes, NHA Region I and CAR I Regional Manager, Engr. Maria Belinda V. Sevalla, NHA Region III Manager, Minerva Y. Calantuan, and representatives from the Homeowners Associations of Pleasant View Residences, Katuparan Village, and Vida Vista 2 signed the MOA.
The BRIS program aims to provide additional benefits to beneficiaries through a reward system through product patronage of their Neighborhood Buying Stores (NBS), wherein ten percent (10%) of the accumulated purchases made from the NBS shall be the reward of the beneficiary. The reward shall be treated as a payment to their monthly amortizations every time a beneficiary buys from the NBS.
In his message, GM Escalada expressed his hopes that the beneficiaries would patronize and take care of the buying stations installed in the housing sites because you would not even realize that they have paid their amortization.
Rep. Robes praised the BRIS System’s implementation for his part, saying that it would help the beneficiaries fulfill their amortization obligations and the communities’ economies.
Meanwhile, the MOA signing coincided with the inauguration of the Pleasant View Residences buying station.
