The National Housing Authority (NHA) and the Jaime V. Ongpin Foundation Inc. (JVOFI) signed a Deed of Donation and Acceptance (DODA) for one (1) unit medical ambulance and 1,500 units of mobile tablets in support of the Balik Probinsya, Bagong Pag-Asa Program (BP2) on November 18, 2021, at the BP2 Depot, Quezon City

Signatories of the DODA are NHA General Manager and BP2 Council Executive Director Marcelino P. Escalada Jr., JVOFI President Reinaldo A. Bautista Jr., NHA Assistant General Manager and NHA BP2 Head for Operations Engr. Victor C. Balba, and JVOFI Executive Director Maria Rosario Lopez.

Likewise, a ceremonial blessing of the vehicle was held and witnessed by Management Services Group Manager and NHA BP2 Head Secretariat Agnes R. Agay, NHA officials, other stakeholders, and select BP2 beneficiaries.

The JVOFI-donated ambulance was subsequently turned over to the NHA BP2 Council to further boost its operations, along with 1,500 tablets intended for returning student beneficiaries.

JVOFI is a non-stock, non-profit organization working in partnership with local and foreign donors, businesses, government agencies, other NGOs, and people’s organizations in pursuing development programs within its target communities.

Earlier, the JVOFI has donated fifty (50) all-in-one desktop computers, and 500 mobile tablets to the receiving local government units (LGUs) to effectively monitor BP2 beneficiaries.

To date, NHA has succeeded in sending 411 individuals back to their provinces under the said program.
